Five-star rock lifestyle
The joint venture between Hard Rock International and the Palladium Hotel Group has allowed for this hotel to be built by the d’en Bossa beach. The 493 rooms have a cutting-edge style, and furthermore, several types of technological equipment so that guests can put together their very own playlist and enjoy some of the classic tunes from the 20th century.
The most Premium suites pay tribute to David Bowie and Bob Marley, and it is there where several of their instruments and personal items have been included.
Located on Ibiza’s paradisiacal D’en Bossa beach, the Hard Rock Ibiza Hotel’s 493 rooms host a large part of the twentieth-century musical history. Opened in 2014 after the union between Hard Rock and the Palladium Hotel Group, the musical atmosphere and its exclusive facilities make this hotel a unique haven.
Among the standout areas, we have the Rock Spa, the sports area (Body Rock), the Rock Shop with brand merchandise, five swimming pools in the complex (two with bars and three swim-ups), a children’s club and another beach club.
The Mediterranean cuisine fusion with international cuisine defines the five restaurants in this resort, with Paco Roncero as the headliner. This famous chef oversees the ‘Sublimotion’ kitchen, one of the most expensive restaurants in the world (the tasting menu is around €1.650) where avant-garde gastronomic, technological innovation and virtual reality all come together.
Disconnecting through music
In the 235 suites in the hotel, guests can play any of the 20 Fender guitars and play the same chords as Jimi Hendrix once did, listening to their very own music list with the ‘The sound of your stay’ program, mixing different musical tracks on a professional mixing table. As well as that, you can get to hold some of the personal stuff the belonged to Bob Marley, Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson.
After the sell out that Tuff gong (Bob Marley’s nickname) had in the bullring in Ibiza on June 28, 1978, the artist came back to the island a few more times. His particular world and musical influences are recreated in detail in the ‘Rock Suite Legend’. Several of his belongings can be seen, such as an original poster and several tickets for that concert in Ibiza.
WIth a certain museum style, some of the instruments played by bands such as Pink Floyd, Metallica and The Killers, are also on show in this hotel. Among some of the oddest objects that we can find is a Lady Gaga throne, graffiti by Coldplay, a harmonica which belonged to Bob Dylan, as well as Frank Zappa and David Bowie’s original guitars.

Its cutting-edge decor and the minimal furniture in each area portray that personality which the Hard Rock brand has. The vivid colours, together with the brightness in its rooms are enhanced even more with KrionTM. This Krion mineral compact (from PORCELANOSA Grupo) has shaped the basins, the structure of the beds and the breakfast bar.
Being a standard setter on the island in music terms, many international artists have performed at this hotel, such as: Kylie Minogue, Jason Derulo, Pitbull, Placebo, Snoop Dogg, Icona Pop, Robin Thicke, UB40 and Neneh Cherry. Its parties take us back to the Children of the 80s parties, which is one of the activities than can be enjoyed by the hotel guests. This event has become one of the most standout events in Ibiza. Celebrities such as Sabrina Salerno, Samantha Fox, Boney M, Rednex, Barbara Tucker, Rozalla and London Beat have all played here.
An American café with a British accent
Strongly connected to the world of music since the very beginning, the Hard Rock Café brand stands for avant-garde and counterculture. The two reasons why Isaac Tigrett and Peter Morton (both from the USA) founded this company during the punk era in London in 1970.

Their first transgressive project turned an old Rolls Royce dealership into a Hard Rock café. There, British people came across American cuisine for the very first time, which led to fish and ships being replaced with burgers, ribs and corn on the cob. This was followed later by America, Latin America, Asia, Australia, the Caribbean and some African countries, too. Apart from restaurants and cafés, the company also has a hotel division with 27 resorts and 12 casinos. Based in 74 countries, Hard Rock International is one of the most famous companies in the music and hotel industry. More than 80.000 types of memorabilia which belonged to Eric Clapton, Bruce Springsteen or Madonna are kept there.
Hard Rock Hotels has also seen its numbers grow in Spain. Apart from Ibiza and Tenerife, the chain recently announced the opening of a new hotel in Madrid (scheduled for 2019).
Rock and roll all night.
