10 Instagram accounts for Flower Lovers lifestyle
Understanding the language of flowers is much more than differentiating a peony from a rose. It is discovering this wonder of nature, using creativity to design true works of art.
Artists such as Mary Lennox, Swallows & Damsons and Soil and Stem have more than 100.000 followers thanks to their unusual bouquets. The most incredible floral art designs are on Instagram.
1. Mary Lennox
The owner of this account with 125.000 followers, Ruby Barber, had to grow with the literary adventures of Frances Hodgson Burnett. One of his masterpieces, “The Secret Garden” (1910), was that which inspired the floral studio in Berlin, Mary Lennox. Her floral compositions, almost poetic, have served as attrezzo for company campaigns, namely: Gucci, Hermès and Zaha Home; and publications such as Vogue and the New York Times have echoed the cinematic arrangements and still lives. An almost plastic version of flowers with the human figure as the co-protagonist.
2. Swallows & Damsons
Anna Potter’s “dreams” flower factory has the name “plum”. Swallows & Damsons creates, from the small workshop in Sheffield, United Kingdom, incredible floral design compositions which impress because of their character and dramatic quality. Decorations which become global due to Instagram, democratising its unique scenographic style.
3. Sarah Winward
From UTA in the United States, this florist turned influencer gives her own personality to each ceremony that she decorates. With a philosophy which banks on flowers to be integrated with a natural look in the environment in which they are going to be placed, Winward combines flowers and centerpieces with other natural decorative elements in the bouquets and centerpieces. A specialist in wedding arrangements, her work borders on vintage styles, and her hallmarks are neutral and soft colours.

Work for weddings, events and private houses which extends through Instagram and which gets as much success among her followers as her dog does, Cedar.
